That is quite some exit from that last stack, I wasn't expecting that!
He had a crazy level of skill but I really didn't like the poor Western style of clowning. Back when I used to go to a lot of circus shows in the 90s/early 2000s I remember the Chinese State/Imperial circuses had what I believe are more traditional Eastern 'clowns'. They were more funny peculiar (I remember a girl walking round the ring in a very believable costume that was a girl fanning herself on a staggering old man's back. You really had to look closely to see which one was the puppet. & a guy throwing 3 pronged boomerangs which he caught spinning on his hat, there were traditional dances & characters from Peking operas & so on) rather than funny ha ha. But over time the oriental circuses started presenting poor Western style clown acts which I thought was a great shame.
I still rate this act very highly.
