While doing some research into my other obsession (telephones) I've stumbled across the following PDFs of the in-house magazine about the people who worked for ATM/AT&E telephones, mostly based in liverpool.

The article starting on page 3 is an interview with "Betty Dillon" a trapeze artist who seemingly toured with a couple of circuses over a 6 year period. (incidentally, the photograph which immediately follows that article is of the telephone exchange I've got in my front room)

The article starting on page 4 is an interview with "Jimmy Motler" a juggler/clown/strongman who performed in musichall for 30 years - and ended up working in the dispatch department.
