Incline Surface Juggling
I have created a machine to do Incline Surface Juggling: https://youtu.be/T9NgqoHmMZM?start=27.
Incline Surface Juggling has surfaced in the past, most recently, Nathan Peterson built a 7 ball juggling robot: https://youtu.be/LsLFYhI6gZY.
In 2011 Youtube user thegoheads posted this video: https://youtu.be/pdgG3zV_2Ak.
Building this with a drill and coping saw was easy. The balls are readily available 3/8" steel bearings. The large flat sheet of plywood has a slope of 1/16, and the ramp has a slope of -1/14. The balls are moved from the chute (softened by the white cloth) to the top of the ramp with a magnet. The magnet rotates in a wheel. As the wheel rotates, the magnet picks up and drops off the balls.
Using this noisy machine feels like juggling several balls in one hand.
The magnet comes from a hard drive, it's one of a pair. A cascade could be juggled using this machine with two sets of magnets, chutes, and ramps.
