You are lucky to just have 30 minutes :). Less time is easier, not harder!

Find success in the small things. In 30 minutes with young kids, I would not even dream of cascades. I have no experience with scarves (I teach balls & rings to kids), but I am sure you can think of 10 'tricks' that anyone could do. Applaud those as if they were real feets, and move on before anyone gets bored.

My trick ideas (note I don't juggle scarves)

Catch 1 scarf with just index and thumb
Blow the scarf up from your face
Claw catch
31 2 scarf shower, with the 1 behind the back
Same thing, under the leg (maybe this trick first)
one up, pirouette
Piroute can be replaced with clapping, putting your hands in front of your eyes (for a split second), pretending to brush your teeth, sitting down and getting up, etc....
2 scarves synchronously up and caught
2 scarves 330
2 scarves in one hand?

Team games:
Pass 2 scarves synchroneiously, both participants using only one hand. other hand on the back. Let them count down 3.2.1. Increase distance, have them run to each others scarf before it drops to the floor
Cascade with 2 people, one is the right hand one is the left hand.

I made up these tricks as fast as I could type, there must be a 1000 more. Play with your scarves for a while and you'll find them.

Good luck :), and let us know how it went!
