I knew Paul for 30 years and was quite close to him. He and I had the two largest collections of historical juggling props in the world and often shared duplicate items. Paul and I did the IJA History Lounge together in 2013, creating the largest display of juggling history ever assembled. He and I talked quite regularly and I always enjoyed talking to him and spending time with him.
I was interviewed last week by the Chicago Tribune for a story on Paul. I don't think it's been published yet, though. I own the world's only juggling museum and have several of Paul's personal props on display, as well as many props of other performers that Paul most generously gave me. I will miss our wonderful conversations on juggling history and our collections.
