No. That's bullshit. The record wasn't clear from the two different angles he had recorded his previous attempt ONLY because he edited his videos to show it being unclear. One angle he edited so it cut out before you could see the drop happen. The other angle he *twice* edited in another way, filming the video showing on a laptop screen to crop out the dropped club.
Willy had two different videos of his previous attempt, and could have, at any time, shown either of them in full, without editing. The original videos would have made it very clear it was a failed attempt he was trying to pass off as a real record.
Now, I never thought he wasn't capable of getting the record. It's obvious it was something he had done before, or was very close to doing, but him finally sharing it on video doesn't suddenly make his earlier lies honest. He's just a liar that was caught out.
