This year was also my first WJF, so I'm sharing some of my thoughts here too :)

**Highs**
* Meeting cool people - both jugglers and non-jugglers (including participants of speed cube, yo-yo, cornhole, fencing, power lifting and takraw competitions)
* Getting to try some of the other skilled events at the convention
* Seeing Vegas for the first time

**Lows**
* Transportation 1: the distance between the two WJF locations and difficulty in getting from one convention site to the other (prior to others offering to help us)
* Transportation 2: flight back to YYZ got delayed 3 hours and got stranded overnight at the airport
* Allocated juggling space was a bit tight – I was afraid of hitting little kids nearby

**Goals**
* To not let down the WJF spirit (of other jugglers present) – maybe check? (I was getting over a bad cold the first few days so I had to retire for frequent naps, but wasn’t too grouchy. Definitely not as energetic as everyone else there, but held up pretty well.)

**Crushes**
* Jeremy (takraw organizer) – for letting us use their van, and for being super friendly
* Bob – for livestreaming events when only I requested it, and for arranging a van (and pizza) for us
* Doug & Joe – for driving us from site to site and just keeping WJF going strong!
* Fabion – for sharing some cool trick ideas that I hope to get better at (and for thinking that my comments were funny enough)
* Mike

**Banes**
* Being tight on cash, since I didn’t think to convert CAN to USD in advance, and there was no place that did cashback
* Artificial turf dirt at indoor sports complex –it would stick to my clubs and my hands got very black
* Noisy air conditioner/potential allergens in hotel room, and smoke in convention centre

**Surprises**
* Japanese juggler comes alone to watch WJF – he’s been juggling for longer than me but we hadn’t met before
* Not many competitors this year (I expected a bigger turn out and more events, but there were maybe ~30 at WJF over several days and fewer events this year)
* Mike leading games
* Accuracy in throwing of competitive cornhole players
