I edited the wikipedia page and added the link to the report in the IJA newsletter and informed the EJA of my findings, I think Sonia (the EJA historian?) has the correct figure, I don't know where the webmaster got that number from, but it is repeated in many places and I left it on the wikipedia page for now (I don't think magicians count). I think the IJA report is probably accurate as it was written contemporaneously.
The EJA have corrected some of the errors on their list of past EJCs on the website though I think there might still be a date wrong though we corrected the EJCs that were down as lasting more than a month.
