Ouffh! Afraid, not wholly, but https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gyroscope speaks of "conservation of the angular momentum" ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conservation_of_angular_momentum#Angular_momentum_in_orbital_mechanics ); the pic of torque there mentions "precess" ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Precession ) "caused by the weight of the torque" - so, I guess, not turning on fixed surface / ground, but movable string, the string gives in to that precess(?) /momentum(?) /weight(?) (.. /"tork"?? / "angela"?? .. ) /q.e.d.(???).
