I reckon agencies of all kinds are going to be killed off, in the long term, by better search tools on the internet. (See: Rightmove).

The internet has the ability to provide much more useful information than an agency ever would, for example, unfiltered reviews from people who booked or saw the act. That could make individuality more important rather than less.
