I tend to find the opposite. If I meet a person in real life then it puts all their posts into a biased context; weighed by my opinion of that person's personality, experience, arrogance, and acceptance of new ideas/point of views).

For most people this means it doesn't change what I think of their posts. For other's it can have a profoundly negative influence (only 2-3 on this site).

If you know a guy bullshits and is arrogant then your more likely to ignore their opinion.
