In addition "work culture" is taken into consideration. If an employer thinks you won't fit into the company's culture (as its proven to affect quailty and rate of work) then they won't be asking you for an interval. I've know people to be rejected on that basis alone.
And old MySpace profiles tied to the email on your CV... Seen some bad things when considering interviewing people. The fact that we'd find that sort of thing tells us they're usually not suitable for the job.
