Sounds great (being a teacher)! I eschew scarves for juggling (no mass-center, no weight, no resistance). I'd split them up in groups of like total beginners (1 ball), rookies (2-3 balls,...

Having taught several hundred workshops on scarf juggling, I would recommend teaching juggling scarves as follows (for a 30 minute session). Shw them a few moves with 2 scarves that are really basic...

I haven't read 7b-wizard's longish explanations, but this sounds silly. To 'qualify' 5 would mean by this definition doing only two throws: "55"?Also, if you want to say "I did one round of 97531", why...

It seems as though people are making up their own definitions of how a qualify applies to siteswaps. What I don't understand is why we need to define it.Post replyby peterbone, in response to this post...

Yup. The term qualify comes from the IJA numbers competitions, that happen only once a year, and means you've done enough catches of one number of objects so you can move on to the next higher number....

On a related note Luke, I'm curious about the rules for winning a point in FNC. From rules for referees:The player has already maintained their pattern for a minimum of six catches beyond the last...
